格丁’ 图gy with it! The Naked 图, The Pickled 图, The Wild 图

我最近收到一封电子邮件,要求我保留举办Bloggers晚餐的日期 that was being put on at the Naked 图. How delightful! Always nice to try somewhere that I haven’t been before and such a treat to be invited! Especially in the presence of some fellow bloggers 🙂

现在,正如我所提到的,我还没有去过裸体无花果或任何一家咖啡馆‘Fig’ group (Naked, Pickled, Wild) but I had definitely heard about them. Earlier in the year the 图s caused quite the social media storm after deciding to have a very gentle dig at a customer who had chosen to broadcast that he wasn’t particularly happy with a visit to one of these cafes.  The banter was humorously tame and reminded me to add the 图s to my growing list of places I’d like to visit.

On arriving last Wednesday evening, GG and I were greeted 通过 杰米, the Operations Manager for the Naked 图 in 斯旺本. A very friendly and genuine fellow and he welcomed the assembled group and encouraged us to provide any feedback throughout the night on the dishes. Everyone was presented with a glass of bubbles (路易斯·布约特·珀尔D’auroreRoséBrut(法国勃艮第)bt $ 58)和庆祝活动正在进行中!

作为我的第一次来访,我真的被这个地方的大小所震惊。很大!奇妙的宽敞,而我只能想象的(在夜间)只是海洋的壮丽景色。当我们走进室内时,我们可以听到海浪拍打的声音,对于海边用餐的爱好者来说,它肯定会打勾。而且附近有一个游乐场,因此绝对适合有小孩的家庭。那天晚上,当一场暴风雨在外面酝酿时,室内感觉真的很热情。他们收集了一些时髦的照明设备,桌子后面有一个区域非常适合某个功能。

So our dinner that evening was a shared affair, which I’m a fan of. Each of the 图’s chefs – Chris May (The Naked 图), Rodrigo da Rocha (The Wild 图) and Andy Walton (The Pickled 图) – were preparing an entr ée, mains and a dessert for us to try. Exciting!! All the more when I read the menu – sounded delicious!

去核混合橄榄,橄榄酱,橄榄面包(腌制) –一个不错的简单入门。这是一种可爱,美味的橄榄混合。我实际上并没有尝试过橄榄面包,而是尝试了一些不含麸质的面包,因为我们小组中的一些麸质受到了挑战。第一次尝试无麸质面包,它实际上非常好。当我拿起它时感觉很重,但实际上却轻了很多,当与一些意大利细面条一起摊开时,我不确定是否会因为缺乏面筋而变得更明智。

扇贝和龙蒿饺子,贝类卡布奇诺咖啡(裸) –我承认这是我最兴奋的尝试。小小的面食包裹看起来很完美,扇贝和龙蒿的馅很滑爽可口。贝类卡布奇诺咖啡具有令人愉悦的醇厚风味。我一直担心它会带来更浓郁的腥味,但幸好没有。这是意大利式饺子的可爱伴奏。

Lemon and thyme polenta, aubergine and tomato roulade, 农业 多尔斯 puree (Wild)
–我最近没吃过很多玉米粥,但是做得不错,这很可爱,可以说是菜中的土豆。更轻巧,充满了柠檬和百里香的奇妙风味。我有很多时间去买百里香J,这道菜的所有口味实际上都很好地融合在一起。我不熟悉什么是农家果泥,但发现那是“意大利美食中的传统糖醋酱。它的名字来自“agro” (sour) and “dolce” (sweet)。”酱汁与其他成分形成鲜明对比。

脆皮烤的澳洲肺鱼,罗勒土豆泥,香肠,辣椒和橘子酱(腌制) –这真是一条可爱的鱼。轻盈而酥脆,皮肤酥脆,质地细腻。我以为罗勒土豆泥可能在风味方面有点刺耳,直到我读到它才意识到它不是罗勒土豆泥,但从视觉上看,绿色的土豆泥看起来不错。我以为在这道菜中加入了香肠,在盘子底部混合了蔬菜。

烤胡椒牛lo,牛肉片,鹰嘴豆泥,豆芽,大蒜和迷迭香汁(裸) –我真的很喜欢这道菜中使用的对比鲜明的牛肉块。优雅的胡椒牛lo塔经煮至粉红色完美,味道可爱,但对我而言,赢家是牛肉片。它煮得很慢,最终结果有那么深的风味,只是在你的嘴里融化了。天啊!我还认为将其与球芽甘蓝搭配使用效果很好。这样的赞赏蔬菜!我爱他们!精心准备,它们是所有菜肴中受欢迎的补充。

平底锅烤鸭胸,酥鸭和蘑菇蛋,、欧洲防风草泥,炒芥兰,pistachip脆,李子汁(野生) –我确实喜欢鸭肉,和牛肉一样,我很感激他们加入了两种不同风格的肉-精致的粉红色的胸脯肉片,以及一堆装在酥脆蛋art中的酥脆鸭蛋。还提醒我,很高兴秋天到了,因为我对根菜的恋爱可以恢复。在盘子上放上防风草泥!在我桌子的尽头,这道菜最受喜爱。但这是一个非常艰难的决定,因为所有人都准备充分,并且在质地和口味之间取得了令人满意的平衡。另外,他们的演讲精美。

好像我们曾经’前两道菜足够宠坏了,是时候来点甜品和甜点了!在最后的课程中,我们还得到了一杯Amaro黑山。当我得知Amaro是“意大利草本利口酒,通常在餐后消化后饮用。”它确实有一种苦涩的草药味,但我很喜欢它,而且它的口感似乎也很清澈。我没有参加很多摘要,所以尝试一个很不错。

普通话和百里香焦糖布丁,脆饼饼干(腌制) –这种甜点的味道很可爱,普通话和百里香的细毛细雨都很好,但是布丁本身就不太好。真是流鼻涕。它的味道很美,很滑,有很多香草,但是如果在酥脆的焦糖顶部下面变硬一点的话,会更好。我真的很喜欢脆饼饼干。让我想起了他们在圣诞节时卖出的那些饼干罐,以及所有用小锅烤的脆饼饼干……。但是我离题了。这是一个很好的饼干。

爆米花布丁,香草糖爆米花,奶油糖酱(裸露) –我认为这种甜点看起来很不错,因为其成分在盘子上的分布非常战略。我真的很喜欢奶油布丁的味道,尤其是当搭配一些奶油糖沙司酱时。他们做成了令人愉悦的一对,爆米花作为厨房中凉爽的孩子们的配料而兴起,这道菜中还包括了美味的香草糖爆米花仁。

白巧克力和覆盆子,香草豆(英语),千层酥(野生) –我要说说这三款甜点最nt废的一天。糕点清淡宜人,但对我来说,白巧克力的加入确实增强了放纵的感觉。浆果的存在受到欢迎,它们有助于减少一些丰富感。

And there you go, our tour of dishes from 茶m 图 was complete and what a tour we’d had! The chefs stopped past the table at the end of dinner to say hello and they received a rousing round of applause from the appreciative audience.

I had thoroughly enjoyed my first visit to the Naked 图. I’d really liked the different dishes we’d had the chance to try. I probably found the savoury side (entrees and mains) slightly stronger than the sweet, but I wouldn’t hesitate to head back to further investigate the menu and I’ve no doubt I’d give some different desserts a whirl then 🙂

As we drove home both GG and I commented on how beautiful a venue the Naked 图 would be for a breakfast and we could only imagine that on a sunny day the place would be pumping! So our plan is to make an early start one day and visit again then. But another dinner is also on the cards too, particularly because there is a pretty impressive line up of wine dinners that they are putting on at the Naked 图….. and well…. I like wine 🙂
